Ceramics: Strong skills in mould making, slip casting, plaster lathing, throwing and turning. Using competent knowledge of glazing techniques and firing technology.
Metal: Strong skills in silver-smithing, making rings, broaches, earrings and chain links. Casting metal, soldering, sinking and forging. Predominantly working with silver, copper and various metal’s pressing. Competent skills with MIG and TIG welding, spot welding, plasma cutting and developing skills with hand grinding tools.
Wood: developed skills with lathe turning, sanding and finishing, steam bending and hand carving.
Confident computer skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, Rush and Lightroom. As well as basic skills in 3D software: Rhino. Strong user in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Confident skills using Procreate drawing for University and personal work.

The New Craftsmen. Three week work experience, assisting both the marketing team and product team. Researching competitors and possible advertising clients on social media, as well as preparing the new product catalogue for the new season.
Annemarie O’Sullivan. Continuous studio work in basket-making, aiding day to day workshop assistance, making new products to sell in the UK and overseas. Observing the independent routine of a maker’s studio.
